8 " Magnetic Master Lap. Developed to improve production in applications which require a fine grind and fast prepolish without a disc or angle change, the magnetic master lap provides the backing for our multiple mesh cutting system. The adaptable arrangement is especially convenient in operations which require constant work with two mesh sizes. Used in conjunction with standard 6 inch discs, either the center disc or the outside ring can be replaced to accommodate the most appropriate mesh size for the job at hand. The inside discs are fastened with a nut and washer while the outside rings are held tight by coencentric magnets embedded in the the master lap. Any lap combination is possible making this product both versatile and cost effective at the same time. The master lap never needs to be replaced and either the outside ring or the center disc can be replaced if they are worn. |
