Assistance for new customers
You can browse or search for the products you would like to order. There is a keyword search box located on nearly every page of our website. In a keyword search, you enter the word or words that you are looking for and press the search button. The search will look for those words in the product names, descriptions, item reference numbers and product detail pages. If you enter more than one word, only products that match all of the words will appear on the search results page.
You will also find links to browse product price lists and if you are not sure what you want, Diamond Tech offers a variety of starting points and features to help you decide.
Prices and discounts
We offer you consistently low prices on our entire inventory of lapidary products, superabrasives, gemological tools and gems packaging. The total cost of any product offered on Diamond tech website is determined by adding the Diamond Tech price (displayed in the product detail page) and the cost of shipping the item to you. The shipping cost varies depending on the method you have chosen, destination and product weight.
The main price quoted on our website is in U.S, dollars. You can choose to display indicative prices in one of your preferred currency. However, the credit card transaction will be completed in U.S, dollars and will be converted at your bank´s prevailing exchange rate.
Items in your shopping cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on the item´s product detail page. Please note that this price may differ from the price shown for the item when you first placed it in your cart.
Diamond Tech does not have a price-matching policy at this time. We do, however, consistently work toward maintaining competitive prices and we do our very best to offer our most current and lowest pricing directly through our website. If we do receive any special deals or promotions, we automatically reflect the discount on our website to pass on to our customers.
Placing your first order
Diamond Tech welcomes orders from all over the world. Ordering internationally will affect delivery time and shipping rates. However, due to the high risk of fraud with international orders we have had to implement certain restrictions.
First you will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. When you find an item that interests you, click the name of the item to see its product detail page. Here you will find more information about the item, including an availability estimate of how long it will take before the item will be ready to leave our office.
If you want to order an item from Diamond Tech, press the "Add to shopping cart" button on the item´s product detail page. You can access the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking the shopping cart button at the top of every page of our website.
Take a moment to review all of the items you have placed in your shopping cart. When you are ready to place an order for everything in the shopping cart, click the "Order checkout" button. You will be taken to the first page of the order form.
Enter your e-mail address, indicate that you are a new customer, and click the "Next step" button. Please note, that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about your orders.
As our welcomed first time customer, please provide the default information about yourself, such as your address, which you may use as a shipping and/or billing address and create a password.
Follow easy onscreen instructions and select your delivery address, shipping and payment methods. Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the "Confirm this order" button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message. We will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment.
At Diamond Tech we want you to be happy every time you shop with us, so we make our return policy simple. For all our products, our guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with what you have purchased just return it to us in its original condition within 15 days and we will issue a full refund for the price of the item(s). At Diamond Tech we are 100 per cent committed to protecting your security and privacy. We know that when you shop on-line, you want to know that your name, address, credit card details and any other information you give us is kept safe and secure, and we promise to do that.
Our complete commitment to customer service means we will make sure you, and only you, can access your account or view your financial details. And because we know how annoying junk mail is, we promise not to pass on your e-mail address, home address or any other details to any party.
And because we are so confident of the safety of shopping with us, we guarantee that we will fully refund you for any fraudulent use of your credit card resulting from a purchase on our website. If your credit card has been used without your consent as a direct result of any purchases you made on our website, we will refund you the full amount of the fraudulent charge.
About e-mail support
We respond to ALL messages within a 24 hour period. Take into consideration there may have been a server problem or bad reply address. We receive many messages with incorrect return address and cannot respond to them. Also, if you have an AOL e-mail account or web-based e-mail account (e.g. hotmail, msn, yahoo etc), then our email messages may be mistaken for "SPAM" and blocked.
We cannot guarantee that your email will remain confidential. We will do our best to keep your communications private. However, we reserves the right to monitor our email usage and might therefore see the text of your message. If you are in any way concerned about the contents of your email being read by someone other than the person you are contacting, you should consider alternate ways of contacting us.
