360 mesh, 38-45 Microns, 10cts. per bottle. Micron powders are well defined ranges of fine particles, usually less than 80 microns in diameter. Crystal shape, strength, and accuracy of sizing are the key elements for a quality micron powder. This is very important in lapping, polishing, and superfinishing operations where oversized grains could result in scratches on the workpiece.
Micron powders can be used in loose form, in compounds and slurries, or in plated or bonded wheels or saws.
