Diamond Tech standard diamond discs feature high concentrations of specially micronized quality diamonds evenly bonded onto a thin flat spring steel base. The tough diamonds assure longer life as well as faster and sharper cutting without chipping or cracking. No adhesive is required and they can easily be secured to a master lap with a nut and washer. 600 mesh is a popular and effective micron range useful in a broad range of applications. Tough materials like quartz and spodumene are pre-polished with 600 mesh diamond. 600 mesh tools work well with larger gems and hard materials. Recommended applications;
Pre polishing and fine grinding - carbide/diamond wire drawing dies, precious/semi precious gemstones, metallographic specimens, and, optical lenses. Our standard arbor size is ½” but other sizes are available upon request.
