Available in a range of mesh sizes for light grinding or pre polishing, these discs should be used in conjunction with diamond tech magnetic master laps. The magnetic master lap, with a recessed arbor is attached to the grinding or faceting unit with a simple nut so that the full face disc can be fastened with the magnetic force resulting in a large unencumbered grinding surface. Recommended applications for 1500 mesh diamond include; Pre polishing - carbide/diamond wire drawing dies, precious/semi precious gemstones, metallographic specimens, and, optical lenses.
